“My experience with the GreenSCENT project has overall been very positive. Initially, we were divided into four different youth groups, and each group then worked together towards the same goal.

I didn’t know anybody in my group, so in the beginning, it did feel a bit awkward to be talking to strangers. Over time we all became more accustomed to each other, and the environment was very pleasant, although that didn’t mean we weren’t influenced by the usual problems doing online meetings involves. Some days there were more black screens than faces, and due to bad connection, we had to repeat the same phrase dozens of times to understand each other.

That’s one of the reasons why I think we all enjoyed our time in the in-person meetings – along with the fact we got to travel to another country and visit its famous landmarks – as we could talk and interact with each other without having a two-second setback or freezing in the process.

Again, my experience was definitely very positive, and I wish the project lasted just a bit more, if only so that I could enjoy it for longer. So, to end this little blurb of my experience with the GreenSCENT project, I would like to thank all those involved, especially Ditte and Ida from DBT, who have been with us throughout our journey with GreenSCENT, as well as all the participants that have been working beside me in the Youth Assemblies. I’ve had a lot of fun and loved getting to know you all and I can’t wait to participate in other projects in the future”
