GreenSCENT at the European Researcher’s Night!
The European Night of Research is a European-wide public event that aims to bring researchers and research closer to the public.
This year’s motto is “Research for Change” with a series of innovative research on offer across 25 different European countries.
Members of the Transmedia research group will lead a workshop in Barcelona on how to co-create an accessible and sustainable event.
The workshop “Go Green! How to organise a sustainable and accessible event” (18.00-18.30 in Espacio Beta) is led by Marta Brescia Zapato and Sarah McDonagh and focuses on the practicalities of organising a sustainable and accessible event. Through the use of practical exercises taken from the work carried out as part of the GreenSCENT project, workshop participants will work together to co-create guidelines for an accessible and sustainable event which facilitates, rather than hinders, the transition towards a carbon neutral society.
